An NFT community making meaningful difference for autism in Africa

Artist Profiles

Kwame and Douglas, hailing from distinct families, share a common thread—both confronted paternal departure due to their mothers refusing to compromise their lives upon learning of their autism. In our art workshop, we showed them different NFT’s, and allowed them to express what they saw on a digital canvas.

26'' x 26'' Threaded Art

Douglas lives with his mother in an uncompleted building. Despite numerous suggestions to restrain him, his mother, seeing him as a gift from God, steadfastly refuses. Douglas, with a unique perspective on the world, expresses it vividly through his distinctive and insightful doodles.

Meet Kwame, a vibrant young boy with a passion for soccer and dance. Tragically, when Kwame was born, his father chose to abandon him, attributing his decision to a belief that spirits from his mother’s family were responsible for Kwame’s condition. Doodling serves as Kwame’s great escape, providing him with a sense of calmness, as beautifully described by his mother.

The Art

We showed our special artists different NFT’s and allowed them to express what they saw on a digital canvas- acquiring their perspective of the NFT world through art. These acquired art pieces will be minted as NFT’s to support the cause.
