To create a blueprint that provides endless possibilities of success, inclusion, and fortitude for all children with special needs in Ghana and beyond.
To support, mentor, and advise the families, care givers, and special educators of special needs children.
To advocate for better services, opportunities, and equal rights for children with special needs.
To inform and educate society on disabilities and create awareness around the topic to minimize stigmatization, prejudice, neglect, and any other negative attitudes.
Children with special needs deserve to live their lives to the fullest, like any other child. But unfortunately, ever so often this is not the case. They are often abandoned, mistreated, and excluded. This can have a devastating impact on all areas of their lives.
That is why we at The Enabling the Disabled Foundation, established in 2022, have the centralized aim of garnering purpose-driven partnerships and mobilizing resources to offer broad-spectrum support to Special Needs Children and their guardians. The foundation is situated upon an indestructible belief that, Special Needs Children deserve a much more strong frontier of institutions, people and systems that place the advancement of the children at the very core of their endeavors.
As such, we stand as an organization continuously devising solutions to the various pertinent issues concerning Special Needs Children by:
